We have WB Leagues at Midtown Sports &
Wellness,.
These triple leagues are for intermediate
players on Mondays and Recreational players on Thursdays.
The leagues are 10 weeks and go with the
seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
They end with a double elimination tournament
and the winners are awarded individual T-shirts. The leagues have been
running since 1990.
The league Director is Amer Chand who is the
Activities Director at Midtown S&W. He has played WB and VB and is a
National USAV Referee and Scorekeeper (Internationally Qualified). He has
played at the USAV National Open Tournament.
At MSW there are 5 RB courts setup for WB and
a 6th court with suction cups is available. Three of the courts have
movable glass walls in the back for viewing (actually used to convert from
RB to Squash). We have 3 sister clubs in town that have several courts
each.
